I know there’s loads of famous people who have experience of mental illness who are not on these lists. If you feel compelled to tell me whom I’ve missed off, please leave a comment below.

The point of this blog post is to show someone experiencing mental illness that they are not alone. That they are among the great and the good.

It was the first time I’d been to a Madame Tussauds. I really enjoyed entering the waxwork world of celebrity, talent and fame. If you’ve never been, I’d recommend it. An amusing and entertaining experience.

Boyfriend-A and I enjoyed our time in Blackpool :). I’m sure we’ll go again, at some point.

Russell Howard, Campness & Heating

By Gay, Gigs & Shows, LifeNo Comments

Russell Howard
This weekend I went to see Russell Howard in Bolton. He was very funny, has a wonderful imagination and is highly intelligent. His tour called ‘Dingledodies’ will soon be released on DVD and it is a purchase I highly recommend. You can pre-order it at Amazon below:

Campness
I know from time to time, I can be a little camp. Ok, a lot camp at times. So it is only natural that the camp gay man inside of me loves the new girls aloud song ‘Promises’. Here’s the video off YouTube:

Heating
I am pleased to announce I have heating again! Yes the boiler packed up on Saturday leaving me and my house mates with out Heating or Hot Water! So happy to have it back, it makes me appreciate it more.

The shops ‘got me’ and other news

By Books & Authors, ShoppingNo Comments

Hi All,

The shops got me! After being frugal with my money living on £50 a week for two weeks, I happened to go to the shops ‘just for a look’. I ended up leaving the shop with this:

I blame work! I was in the other office near the town and shops on call. I am not ususally near any shops to browse in.

I also picked up Alan Carr’s autobiography.

In other news I have been short listed for my job (see Good & Bad news). I will be interviewed Wednesday and am preparing my presentation. I have renewed my Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration.

Coming up this month:

Blog soon,
