Blackpool Part 2: Madame Tussauds

By Happiness & Joy, Life, Love & RelationshipsNo Comments

Boyfriend-A and I went to Blackpool at the weekend. We started with the Sealife Centre (see Blackpool Part 1: Sealife Centre) and then went to Madame Tussauds. I have to start by saying some of the waxworks were really bad, here are three examples, click on any image for full size photo:

Good Fun: My Night Out Look

It was the first time I’d been to a Madame Tussauds. I really enjoyed entering the waxwork world of celebrity, talent and fame. If you’ve never been, I’d recommend it. An amusing and entertaining experience.

Boyfriend-A and I enjoyed our time in Blackpool :). I’m sure we’ll go again, at some point.

Write soon,

Antony

Unable to escape from Derren Brown

By Gay, TV, Online Streaming & FilmsNo Comments

A few weeks ago it seemed like I was unable to escape from Derren Brown. He was on Channel 4 and I was facinated by his show which included an audience of both celebs and ordinary people from a variety of backgrounds. Since he has predicted correctly the lotto numbers.

I heard his prediction in the news (see Telegraph, Daily Mail) he had correctly predicted the correct lotto numbers. I was suitably impressed to say the least. But then I read the story on Pink News and was shocked to learn that Derren is gay. He apparently came out two years ago, I had no idea.

See gay people are everywere. In every job, role and part of society.

They say the statistic is 1 in 10 people are gay, lesbian or bisexual. I think it’s probably much higher. What do you think? Leave a comment.

Inspirational Icons

By TV, Online Streaming & FilmsNo Comments

I normally don’t watch The Paul O’Grady Show although I do think it is good family enertainment (in this heterosexual world we gay people live in).

However three big celebs that inspire me (see People that inspire me) where on. Dawn French was the guest host and both John Barrowman and Whoopi Goldbery where guests.
