There’s lots of theories about the number of planes of existence. Some say there’s 7 planes of existence, others say there are 9, while others say there’s as many as 31.
I like to keep things simple. So here is my 3 planes of existence, using the ocean as an analogy:

The Witch’s Bag of Tricks is not a book for the initiate or new Witch.
It’s a book for the knowledgeable and experienced Witch. Witches who’ve reached a learning plateau and were spells have began to lose their effectiveness. (We’ve all been there.) In The Witch’s Bag of Tricks Marquis covers:

Marquis’ writing style reminded me of one that you would read in a magazine. This made The Witch’s Bag of Tricks feel superficial.
This wasn’t helped by Marquis trying to cover a large number of topics in the one book. There were parts of the book I would have loved Marquis to explore in more detail.
Reading The Witch’s Bag of Tricks was a pleasure. It reinvigorated my love of learning in the Craft – which is no small achievement. It’s great to see a book on the market and aimed at practiced Witches. I hope to find other books like this.
So far I’ve found the following books useful for an experienced Witch: Advanced Witchcraft by Edain McCoy, Witchcraft: Theory and Practice by Ly De Angeles, Utterly Wicked: Curses, Hexes & Other Unsavory Notions by Dorothy Morrison.
The Witch’s Bag of Tricks is available to buy on Amazon and at all good bookshops.

2. Llewellyn Worldwide publishes books around all topics pagan and spiritual.
3. The Angry Cauldron is my favourite American online pagan shop. I love it because it sells Dorothy Morrison products.
4. A Bad Witch’s Blog provides regular content from a London-based Witch. Her posts are a enjoyable to read.
5. The Goddess & The Green Man is a pagan shop in Glastonbury. They sell some really unique items.
6. The Witchs’ Voice is an American website that I used visit often. It has interesting articles on all aspects of paganism.

Today marks the first day of Spring and is also the pagan festival of Ostara (pronounced O-star-ah). So what’s Ostara all about?
It’s about new beginnings, rebirth and fertility. Ostara is an equinox (equinox is latin for equal days), the day and night are in balance. After today, the days will get longer and the nights will get shorter. The days will not only get longer, but warmer as well.
At this time Nature renews its self and new life begins: new buds appear on trees, plants like daffodils rise out of the soil, hibernating animals with come out of hibernation and many animals will give birth to offspring.
For pagans it is about new beginnings, such as starting new projects. It’s an opportunity to appreciate the renewal and new life in nature.
Symbols for Ostara include eggs (as practically all life comes from some sort of egg), rabbits (a fertility symbol), lambs and honey.
Colours associated with Ostara include yellow, orange, red and light green.
I intend of celebrating Ostara by planning some new creative projects.
