Precious Time

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Our free time is precious. The weekends of recent I have been lucky enough to spend with my partner David. This weekend we have visited once again (see Tatton Park, a poem.) the fantastic Tatton Park. It’s always extremely relaxing to spend time with him there. It gave us an opportunity to talk about psychic protection, cleansing, grounding as well as exchanging spiritual experiences.

On the way out of the park we saw a dear calling out. I managed to get a picture on my phone (hense the quality):

We got talking on the journey home about our song. We decided (what we both already knew) that our song (as all couples have a song) is Show me Heaven by Tina Arena. See the video below:

The weekend and ‘I kissed a boy’ video

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Hi All,

I have had a wonderful Friday evening and Saturday day with my boyfriend David. Friday started after work in the evening with celebratory drinks, celebrating his birthday. A good time was had by all (hopefully I may have a photo to show you David soon!).

Saturday we spent a lot of time talking which I have come to realise is vitally important in any relationship. Clear communication is important. I am lucky enough that generally David and I are excellent communicators, not to say we don’t have the odd misunderstanding. I must admit that when I got home on Saturday evening to do my application form (see Good & Bad news) I missed him.

On an unrelated topic there has been a song constantly played on Radio 1 called ‘I kissed a girl’. I have heard that some reports in the media claim the female artist is trying to cash in on lesbianism. I have tried to keep away from these media reports for one reason: the song is crap, repetitive and boring! However, I did hear on radio 1 that on YouTube that there is a video of a ‘I kissed a boy’ version sung by males. I could not resist checking it out and bloging about it. Here’s the video:

The video is unfortuately just an image of the all male band. It is obiously a cheap ploy to get famous or make a name for themselves. But it was extremely refreshing to hear a song about a boy kissing another boy in this hetrosexual world we live in.

Blog soon my friends,

Antony

Tatton Park, a poem.

Reading Time: < 1 minute

I would like to deadicate this poem to two people.

To Mum,
For the comment: "what if he’s one of the good ones?"

To David,
For being who he is and for making me feel how I do.

I thank you both.

Tatton Park, by Antony Simpson (August 2008)

‘Tatton Park that day,
The birds danced in celebration of love.
I didn’t think you could make me feel this way.
Explosions inside of me on our first kiss,
My fear being that this, I could miss.

Time always feels so short,
Before I know I am without you.
Being with you longer is my only thought.
Your heart echoing this feeling too.

The horny mornings and the sofest touch.
They are addictive, like a drug.
What happens if you become my crutch?
I would need your tight, strenghing hug.

Am I wrong to have so many dreams about us?
It’s still so early.
But they make me happy, it’s such an incredable buzz.
We would be caring, treating each other fairly.

In you I would put all my trust,
We are so lucky to have met.
Feeling love in life is a must,
We paired are a perfect set.

So now I look forward to more pleasure.
More days like in Tatton park.
Feelings so strong that they are difficult to measure.
The days forever, never going dark.’

Take Care,

Antony
