Home Magic – Superb Simmer Pot Mixes from The Lancashire Witch

By Paganism, Reviews, ShoppingNo Comments

The Lancashire Witch is a Witchy shop. The bricks and motor shop is based Leyland, Lancashire, but they also have an online shop.

All their products and services are designed, developed and delivered by an expert Witch, named Sally.

Sally is an intergenerational Witch being trained from a young age by her mother and grandmother. Sally is wonderful. Friendly, helpful and really knows her stuff.

The Lancashire Witch sells everything a Witch could need under one roof. This includes: Herbs, Resins, Roots, Bones, Flowers, Barks, Spell Oils, Spell Powders, various Tools, Incenses, Floor Washes, Spell Inks, Sprays, Rice, Honey Jars, Bath Salts, Candles and Crystals. It’s a one stop shop for all your magical needs!

I recently got my hands on this Money Magnet Simmer Pot Mix. This is handmade Sally (the Witch herself) is blessed and intended for its purpose. What is a simmer pot mix I hear you ask?

A simmer pot mix is a collection of herbs, roots, barks, dried fruit and flowers that you put into a pan and then simmer for as long as possible. This process releases the magic out of the spell ingredients and releases it into the Universe. It’s a brilliant idea and one a type of spell casting I have never ever thought of doing before.

This is what the Money Magnet Simmer Pot Mix looks like in the pan:

Now, first things first. It smells magical and absolutely divine. The smell throws well, filling my kitchen and living room (tip: open all the doors inside your home that you can and let the scent spread throughout your home). You’ve got to try one of these, if only for the scent that comes completely natural world. Sally only uses the produce of nature and never anything artificial.

The great thing is that The Lancashire Witch does these simmer pot mixes around every sort of spell work you could think of, including: luck magic, cleansing, blessing, healing, hexing, love, etc. And if you can’t find what you’re looking for, you can even order a custom simmer pot mix suited to your intention.

In terms of Spell effectiveness, we’ll have to wait and see. I only just simmered this morning. But I’ve had many other products and services from The Lancashire Witch and they are always effective and often quickly.

My Royal Navy Friend – OUT NOW!

By Amazon, Books & Authors, CreativityNo Comments

My new book has been released early today. I decided to treat you in the cold, dark and skint month of January.

So what’s it all-about:

My dear friend Roy decided to follow in his family’s footsteps and enlist in the Royal Navy.

I wanted to maintain our friendship, to continue to support Roy, to make him laugh and to entertain him. So I came up with the idea of sending him a weekly email on random topics.
These emails were on a variety of topics, always being entertaining, sometimes being interesting, sometimes funny and occasionally being serious.

Topics included: Jokes, Puzzles, Inspirational Quotes, Future Technology to Be Excited About, How to Fight A Shark, How to Woo A Turtle, Some of the Most Amazing Jobs in the World, Facts About Castles, Do Aliens Exist?, The Kindest Humans, A List of Cakes, 13 Weird Body Facts, 20 Super Space Facts, Ancient Egyptian Curses, 10 Weird Olympic Games, The Great Emu War of 1932, Quiz: Flags of the World, Legendary Characters from the UK and others.

My Royal Navy Friend is a copy of these emails. In total, there are 52 emails. Dispersed throughout the book are also Royal Navy facts and stories.

The Gorgeous Mawaan Rizwan – My New Celebrity Crush

By Love & Relationships, Thinking, TV, Online Streaming & FilmsNo Comments

I discovered the gorgeous Mawaan Rizwan through Taskmaster. Then I discovered his BBC Series Juice.

Mawaan is hilariously funny, eccentric and attractive. Then I checked out his Instagram and wow, he’s hot and very sexy. Mawaan is also gay – I think I’ve found my future husband.

I couldn’t resist sending him a complementary message:

Now, I just need him to checkout my profile and fall in love with me. Job done.

I Didn’t Know Whether to Laugh or Cry

By HealthNo Comments

Sometimes in life, we don’t know whether to laugh or cry. I had one of these moments recently.

I woke up in the morning to go to my private appointment with an Ear, Nose & Throat Surgical Consultant. I didn’t feel at all well. The left side of my face (under my eye) had started to swell and my nose was fully congested to the point I couldn’t breathe through it at all.

But I had an appointment to go to. So off I went, my face continuing to swell and my left eye constantly tearing due to the pressure.

In the Consultant’s office, I explained my medical history, symptoms and prescribed medications. The Consultant looked up my nose and then delivered the news that would make want to laugh or cry.

I had a severe sinus/nasal infection. The Consultant said there was both dried and fresh blood, mucus and swelling up my nose. The Consultant said that he couldn’t remove my nasal polyps at the moment. This was because he would be unable to get the camera up my nose to see or remove the polyps due to the swelling and congestion.

The course of treatment: Doxycycline (antibiotic type number 9 for 2023, see 2023 – The Year of Antibiotics), Prednisolone and x2 Nasal Sprays for 6 weeks. Then for a review to see if my nose has improved, so the polyp surgery then can be arranged.

I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. But I will always, were possible, choose to laugh. So I telephoned family and friends and told them that they wouldn’t be getting a polyp with googly eyes and a sparkly wig for Christmas.
