Music & TV I’m Enjoying or Looking Forward To

There’s much cause for excitement with me at the moment. I’m looking forward to some recent and new album releases and some TV shows.

Jake Shears has just released his new album, Last Man Dancing. I’ve got the album and am looking forward to a long drive and enjoying listening to the sound of his voice.

I’ve just learned that Stephen Lynch the musical comedian has released a new album My New Heart. I can’t wait to listen and laugh to it.

Kylie Minogue has a new album coming out, titled Tension. I’m hoping it’s better than her last couple of albums. Hoping it sounds like Kylie in the 90s.

McFly are releasing their long awaiting album titled Power to Play. I am soo excited for this release!

Darren Hayes Live at Manchester Bridgewater Hall in April

In April, a friend and I went to see Darren Hayes at Manchester Bridgewater Hall. We had a great time. I took loads of photos but due to the layout of the theatre and movement of the artist most came out blurry. Here are two photos that did turn out okay:

Speke Hall & Gardens

Recently Mum and I went to visit Speke Hall & Gardens. The weather was cloudy but it stayed dry.

Speke Hall is a glorious hall, steeped in history. It has a Restaurant, Picnic Areas, a Maze, a Children’s Play Area and many paths to walk along.

My Thirty-Sixth Birthday – A Visit to Walton Hall & Gardens, time with Family and Friends

This weekend, it was my thirty-sixth birthday. A couple of days before, I treated myself to Why Has Nobody Told Me This Before? by Dr Julie Smith.

The day before my birthday, on a sunny Friday, my good friend Simon and I visited Walton Hall & Gardens.

Walton Hall & Gardens is a park with a café, crazy golf course and a children’s petting zoo.

Walton Hall & Gardens is a park with a café, crazy golf course and a children’s petting zoo.
The Hall is often hired out for events such as weddings; but the café, crazy golf course and petting zoo are all open to the public.
It has a pay and display carpark.
It has toilets.
It has gardens that are best viewed in the Spring due to when the flowers are in bloom.
The café, crazy golf and children’s petting zoo have various opening times that can be viewed here.
The petting zoo is in the process of being revamped and therefore the only animals currently available to view were peacocks, alpacas, rabbits and ducks.
