Gravey

Posted on:Monday 28 September 2009 @ 20:59, by Antony

The other Sunday JB and I arranged to go for Sunday dinner. He wanted pizza (or some pasta thingy) and I wanted a traditional Sunday cavery. I stated over text that we could negociate (meaning I wanted my own way). JB being clever and diplomatic that he is, let me have my own way! So off we went for a drive and found a nice carvery in the countryside (at least it had green things sprouting out of the ground anyway).

We had a lovely dinner although I did have an overspill of the gravey as I’d put too much on lol. It was a lovely day and on our return I had a brew at his before setting off home. I think I have started to breakdown some of the internal barriers towards him and started to become quite open about exploring what could develop between us.

That’s all for now,

Antony

Wireless again thanks to BT

Posted on:Wednesday 23 September 2009 @ 19:55, by Antony

I had been having some problems with connecting wirelessly to my BT Home Hub. I ended up plugging it in by the wire to the hub and even then it was slow. I emailed BT expecting never to get a response or waiting weeks to get it sorted (which was driving me mad, because I couldn’t write blog posts at my leisure).

BT called me back the following day (I had wrote the email late at night before bed). I missed some of their calls to my mobile as I was at work. And then as soon as I got home my home phone went off. I answered some of the secruity questions and the guy on the phone from BT took control of my computer via the Internet and sorted out my problem in just 10 mins. In the past BT’s customer service hasn’t been good and my past blog posts have reflected this.

So BT:
I’m most impressed. Thanks again for enabling me to blog from my softa.

Antony x

Unable to escape from Derren Brown

Posted on:Monday 21 September 2009 @ 19:32, by Antony

A few weeks ago it seemed like I was unable to escape from Derren Brown. He was on Channel 4 and I was facinated by his show which included an audience of both celebs and ordinary people from a variety of backgrounds. Since he has predicted correctly the lotto numbers.

I heard his prediction in the news (see Telegraph, Daily Mail) he had correctly predicted the correct lotto numbers. I was suitably impressed to say the least. But then I read the story on Pink News and was shocked to learn that Derren is gay. He apparently came out two years ago, I had no idea.

See gay people are everywere. In every job, role and part of society.

They say the statistic is 1 in 10 people are gay, lesbian or bisexual. I think it’s probably much higher. What do you think? Leave a comment.
