The Undomestic God(dess)

By HomeNo Comments

I am like Samantha in The Undomestic Goddess by Sophie Kinsella, I am not a domestic goddess. So I was most impressed with myself when I got possessed the other Sunday and cleaned out the junk room.

The bed was still in it’s plastic covering with half unpacked boxes piled high on it. I emptied the boxes, made the bed and finally cleaned the entire apartment. Here’s a pic of the forma junk room, now guest bedroom:

Friends are welcome to text or call and stay any time. You are promised a warm welcome, in a homely feel apartment.

With Love,

Twenties Girl by Sophie Kinsella

By Amazon, Books & AuthorsNo Comments

From the author of the shopaholic series (see below) comes her latest book Twenties Girl. According to Amazon it is due to be released in July.

I cant wait, I am a big fan of Sophie Kinsella’s writing (see People that inspire me & Confessions of a Shopaholic) and in the mean time, I might actually get round to buying The Gift by Cecelia Ahern.

Quite sometime ago I saw the trailer for Confessions of a Shopaholic (see A chick flick?). They have finally give a realise date: Wednesday 18th February 09. I shall be going to see it as soon as possible. I have read all of Sophie Kinsella’s Shopaholic books that the film is based on and love them.

I can’t wait to see it in the cinemas! Don’t think it will be David’s sort of film, he’s not as camp as me. (Being the man in the relationship ha ha until he see’s a bug).

Here are the books available on Amazon:
