Film Review: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
By AntonyAmazon, TV, Online Streaming & FilmsNo CommentsGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is the third and final film in the Guardians trilogy. It’s focus is Rocket’s story. Rocket is severely injured, but the life-saving med packs won’t work because Rocket has a dead man’s switch inside of him.
The Guardians come together and set out on their mission: to get the code to disable the dead man’s switch, so that they can save Rocket’s life.
What follows is an action packed adventure.
It was a good film. But for me it wasn’t as funny as the previous films, the writers and directors instead focusing on action scenes that went on and on. Rather than the banter spattered throughout the previous films.
There was one particularly annoying scene after Groot had been decapitated and was a head walking on roots, suddenly appeared whole bodied again without showing how he managed this. This was just poor editing.
The film was meant to tug at your heart strings and invoke an emotional response, but it just didn’t do it for me. The selection of music in the film was superb.
Here is a trailer for the film:

Recently we’ve lost two international iconic queens, Lily Savage (Paul O’Grady) and Dame Edna Everage (Barry Humphries). Here is my tribute to them:

I don’t think that anyone could ever replace them. But in the same breath, the young comedy performers coming through just haven’t got that iconic quality.

By AntonyHappiness & Joy, Music & Radio, TV, Online Streaming & FilmsNo CommentsThere’s much cause for excitement with me at the moment. I’m looking forward to some recent and new album releases and some TV shows.
Jake Shears has just released his new album, Last Man Dancing. I’ve got the album and am looking forward to a long drive and enjoying listening to the sound of his voice.
I’ve just learned that Stephen Lynch the musical comedian has released a new album My New Heart. I can’t wait to listen and laugh to it.
Kylie Minogue has a new album coming out, titled Tension. I’m hoping it’s better than her last couple of albums. Hoping it sounds like Kylie in the 90s.
McFly are releasing their long awaiting album titled Power to Play. I am soo excited for this release!
There’s some brilliant TV Shows out/coming out, including:
