Aura Photography 2

Just over a month ago I had my aura photographed (see Aura Photography). I had a big gaping whole in my aura and it was mostly red following a difficult time and traumatic experience. Since I’ve been doing some mediation to repair and rejuvenate my aura and as a result have been feeling better. So this weekend I’ve had another aura photograph done:

As you can see the red is starting to leave being replaced by orange and yellow. The is a distinct green around my heart. My aura no longer has the gaping whole, it seems the meditations have worked.

I don’t know if you can tell on the photo, but on the right side there are three orbs. I am reliably informed that these are spirits or guides. It’s nice to see them with me and looking out for me.

So what’s the meaning of the red, orange, yellow and green colours in my aura? Well you can see the meaning of red in my Aura Photography post and as for the other colours:

Meaning of the Colours
Orange – Brave, Strong, Confident, Positive, Adventurous, Creative, Outgoing, Arrogant, Vanity, Tension, Control, Emotional, Stubbornness.

Yellow – Clarity, Incisiveness, Leadership, Knowledge, Honest, Happy, Individualism, Logical, Cynical, Analytical, Critical, Egotism, Negative Thinking, Stress.

Green – Practical, Helpful, Dependable, Generous, “Moving on” through awareness, Healer, Suspicion, Bitterness, Feeling unsettled without secureness and stability, Conflict of ideas and emotions.

As usual I’ve bolded the words that I think apply to me right now. Think I’ll have my aura photographed every month or two, just to keep an eye on the health of my energy.

Blogs of Interest: An Update

Every now and then I go in search of new blogs to read. So I’ve scoured the web and added some new blogs to the Blogs of Interest section on the sidebar. The new blogs are:

  • Dead Robot – A blog of a gay man, look good so thought I’d add it.
  • Follow My Bliss – A blog of an American comedian who quit her desk job to follow her bliss. Loved the idea of following her bliss or what makes her happy. And since she is doing what makes her happy and my main mission in life is to be happy, she was a must have addition to my Blogs of Interest.
  • Occult View – A pagan blog – A pagan blog that looks really interesting. Love the background half day and half night. Thought it was worth keeping an eye on.
  • Eavesdropping in the Boys Club – A blog written by a man, for women to know what men think about dating and relationships. As a “reformed womanizer, a liar and a cheat” he has some really interesting blog posts.
  • Curly Hair and False Eyelashes – A blog of a 27 year old woman with secondary breast cancer. Blog posts often inspiring, sometimes funny and always worth a read.

    Now blogs that have been removed from my Blogs of Interest section of the sidebar and the reasons why:

  • Mike Lawson’s Blog – He very rarely blogs these days and when he does it seems to be nothing but a negative rant. Whereas at first, I thought it was cleverly, witty and well argued now it just seems like a bitter-queen-rant. No offence to the author just my opinion
  • Thoughly Good Blog – The blogger loves the Proms and I have no issue with that, it’s just I don’t. And these days it’s all he seems to blog about, apart from his thoughts of occasional bits of news. He’s grown his blog and changed it to attract a certain audience and I feel like I’ve been left behind. Again, no offence intended to the author.
  • And I Am Sombody – Removed as my Norton comes up saying it’s got webrooter attacks on the site and that it’s blocked them. For safety I’ve not included the link here. Plus he never updates. It’s ashame as I used to enjoy reading his blog and it never used to have webrooter attacks on it.

    • All the others that I haven’t mentioned have remained on from my last update and are ones that are constant. Ones that I continue to enjoy to read. So go and check some of them out.

    TV – Torchwood: Miracle Day, Episode 5

    Episode 5 marks the half way point in the Torchwood Miracle Day series. It’s at this point that I’ve finally got to grips with the characters. We already know Captain Jack Harness – Usually immortal, but Miracle Day has switched things around – making Jack mortal and the rest of the world immortal. Played by the gorgeous John Barrowman; we also know Gwen Cooper – Jack’s right hand woman, married to Rhys and has a beautiful baby girl. Gwen’s father in Episode 4 was moved to a “over flow” camp. But what about the newbies?

    Well we’ve previously met Rhys Williams – Married to Gwen and occasionally helps out on Torchwood missions, albeit reluctantly. As for the new American cast, we have:

    • Rex Matheson – A CIA agent who should have died in a car accident but Miracle Day is keeping him alive. He joined Captain Jack and Gwen after those behind Miracle Day instructed agents in the CIA to take out Jack.


    • Esther Drummond – A CIA intelligence analyst and friend of Rex. She joins the Torchwood team after being set up by those behind Miracle Day to look like she’s been taking bribes to disclose information. She has a sister who can’t cope well with the outside world and is reliant on Esther to look after her.


    • Vera Juarez – A doctor who has been involved in dealing with Miracle Day. She’s treated Rex after his accident on Miracle Day and been his pain killer dealer of sorts. She has been intimate with him since.


    • Oswald Danes – Is the openly admitted and found guilty paedophile and murder. Backed by Phi Cop a pharmaceutical company who Torchwood suspect caused Miracle Day.


    • Jilly Kitzinger – The PR Agent whose managing Oswald and has a connection with Phi Cop, but it hasn’t been revealed what exactly the connection is yet.

    So what happened in this episode then? Firstly Gwen goes back to Wales (using a fake identity) to rescue her dad from an over flow camp. Meanwhile Esther discovers that the plans stolen from Phi Cop’s server have a module that’s not on the official plans or maps online. A secret module, Torchwood need to find out what’s going on in these secret modules. So Rex uses his accident to get put into a camp, with Esther going in as a Administration Assistant and Dr. Vera going in as an inspector. Phi Cop get the world to agree to categories of life. Category 1 is most serious and is how you end up in the secret modules, whereas Category 2 is for those injured but still concious and aware. Category 3 is for those healthy and uninjured.

    Meanwhile Gwen and Rhys manage to infiltrate a camp in Wales and rescue her dad, only for him to suffer another heart attack and end up being recategorised from Category 2 to Category 1.

    Rex get’s Esther to recategorise him as Category 1 so that he can find out and film what happens in the secret module. Dr. Vera comes in under the guise of an inspector and is shown around. Whilst being shown around she finds standards are less than satisfactory (to say the least) and says she’s going to report the man running the camp. He goes mad and shoots her.

    Rather than getting her treatment he takes her to the secret module and that’s when you realise something’s not right. The secret modules are tiny imcomparison to the rest of the camp, yet there are probably as many (if not more) people in Category 1 as in Category 2. It’s revealed that the secret module contains incinerators and that they are incinerating Category 1 people.

    Meanwhile Captain Jack finds Oswald whose about to make a big speech to the entire American nation and tries to encourage him to tell the truth about what’s going on, giving him a speech. Jilly (the PR Agent) tells Oswald that he needs to go on stage and read a speech ending in “reveal” to show a big Phi Cop logo on a screen behind him. Oswald stutters and stumbles on stage dropping both speeches. Both Jack and Jilly watch nervously as Oswald beings talking, reading neither of their speeches. Oswald says that we were once animals, then evolved to human beings and now we’ve evolved again to Angels. He finishes his speech by saying “reveal.”

    Rex finds Dr. Vera as the man guy running the camp is about to incinerate her and that is where the episode ends for this week.

    Book Review: The Book of Tomorrow by Cecelia Ahern

    The Book of Tomorrow by Cecelia Ahern Book Cover The Book of Tomorrow is the latest book by Cecelia Ahern. In it we meet Tamara Goodwin a spoilt-brat of a teenager who gets what ever she wants from her parents, usually by stamping her feet and demanding. Tamara, her mother and her father live close by to the city in a Mansion. But then her world is turned upside down after she discovers her dad has committed suicide. Tamara and her mother realise that he was about to loose everything due to some bad property investments and the bank was about to foreclose on the house before he died. He didn’t know how to tell them and couldn’t bare facing the situation he found himself in.

    Tamara finds herself and her mother moving in to the countryside with her Uncle Arthur and Auntie Rose, in to the gatehouse. The gatehouse leads to a castle which burn’t down some years ago and is now a ruin. Tamara thrown in to this new life and is angry and board. Her life routine has completely changed. Now instead of going shopping and having latte’s she has a big breakfast (cooked by Auntie Rose), checks on her mother (who spends her days sleeping) and goes for walks in and around the castle. On one of her walks she discovers a secret garden and meets Sister Ignatius, who eventually becomes a friend but keeps getting confused about her age – thinking she’s a year older than she is.

    Then into her life comes the travelling library. Tamara makes friends with Marcus, a slightly older man, who she fancies. She chooses a book, but it’s locked and she can’t open it. After the travelling library is gone, the book opens to reveal blank pages. She decides to keep it as a diary. The the next day she see’s her writing in it revealing what will happen tomorrow. So does she follow what the diary says or do something different to change it? She begin’s to realise that it’s her choices that influence the outcome of a day. While living in the gatehouse with her mother, Arthur and Rose there always seems to be an elephant in the room. Something unspoken and unsaid. Some secret. She investigates leading to revelations and a dramatic ending.

    At the end of the book Tamara is happier with her new life and the changes the revelations have brought to her life. Usually I read one of Cecelia Ahern’s books in a day or less, but this one took longer to get into and read. It had Cecelia’s usual touch of magic – in this case from the magic diary and beautiful description of the Irish countryside and mythical castle. As usual with Cecelia’s books it focused on the strength of the human spirit in the characters. However the characters seem to have miraculous transformations, without any major event causing the change in attitudes and values and this makes them feel at bit 2D and fictional at times. At the beginning of the book there is little to captivate the reader and the end of the book seems rushed.
