So basically, “the Dead” is more of a pre-quel then a sequel? I literally just finished “The Enemy” and I want to find out what happens. I mean if its a prequel to “the Enemy” that’s fine. I’ll still read it because the first one was awesome. At the same time its like a cliffhanger; I just NEED to know what happens next, you know? I have to find out if Small Sam makes it back to his little sister and about Blue and Maxie 🙂

Yeah “the dead” is a pre-quel. I was disappointed to hear it was too and can’t wait to find out what happens with Small Sam and Blue and Maxie.
His next book after “the dead” will probably be out in a years time as most authors publish a book once a year. So it looks like we’ll both bet waiting.
But like you said I’ll still be buying “the dead” as it will give some more background to the characters and the back story of how the adults got ill.

I can’t recommend a good place to download it as I don’t use ebooks. I guess you could get it on Amazon ebooks, but it wouldn’t be free.
