Yesterday, I was driving in the car when the news came on the radio. I heard how a Warrington band called Viola Beach had died in a car crash, along with their manager in Sweden where they were on an international tour. The News Reader mentioned how the band were on the cusp of making it big. So sad, especially for their loved ones.
Later on, while driving they played one of Viola Beach’s tracks. The track was great, they were undoubtably talented and the sound reminded me of Manchester band The 1975. So I have bought all of Viola Beach’s 3 tracks on iTunes.
Write soon,

On the radio, while I was driving home from work on Friday afternoon, I heard this cover of Fast Car by Jonas Blue ft. Dakota’s:
I liked the upbeat cover. But it made me long to hear the original by Tracy Chapman. So when I got home, I YouTubed the original and found this superb, beautiful, live performance of Fast Car by Tracy Chapman:
I’ve had it on repeat ever since. Enjoy. Will blog soon,

On Sunday 10th January 2016, the iconic, undoubtedly talented and inspirational David Bowie sadly died.
I didn’t grow-up with David Bowie. I’m nearly thirty, so a bit young. Instead, I discovered him as an adult.
On this post, I originally shared many of David Bowie’s music videos to celebrate his life. But unfortunately the majority of these videos have been removed from YouTube.
My all-time favourite song of is Under Pressure. I particularly love a live rendition from Madison Square Garden in 1997.
David Bowie had many other great songs including Heros, Let’s Dance and Changes.
Blog soon,
Antony
