In my last post: My View on The Law of Attraction – Including Pro/Cons Lists, I discussed The Law of Attraction in great detail. Thinking about The Law of Attraction was useful in terms of me developing some wishes and goals for my life. Here they are, some may not appear to be realistic, but The Law of Attraction encourages you to think and feel big, so that’s exactly what I’ve done here:

Health:

  1. My Diabetes is in perfect control.
  2. I sleep well. I have plenty of energy.
  3. I’m healthy and happy.
  4. I relax regularly.
  5. I always have plenty of food available to me.

Money:

  1. I have millions of pounds in the bank.
  2. I am financially secure and prosperous.
  3. I have active subscriptions to Disney+, Amazon Prime, Amazon Music and Netflix.

Home:

  1. I own a home with a garage and garden.
  2. I always feel safe and love at home.
  3. I live near Rivington.
  4. My home is always clean and tidy. I have a cleaner that helps with this.

Career:

  1. I spend my days writing books, blog posts and articles, working 7am to 3pm, Monday to Wednesday (3 days a week).
  2. I spend one day a week (Thursday) doing addiction counselling.

Social / Romantic Relationships:

  1. I have a secure and happy relationship with a handsome, kind and funny man. I marry this man.
  2. My family, friends and husband are happy and supportive of me.
  3. I regularly do fun things with family, friends and my husband including: theatre trips, music gigs and comedy shows.
  4. I go on holiday twice a year, one holiday in the UK and one holiday abroad. Both holidays are enjoyable, places of beauty with lots of fun things to do.

Spirituality:

  1. I feel connected to the universe.
  2. All of my spells are successful.

A New Sofa

By Happiness & Joy, Home, ShoppingNo Comments

At the weekend I went sofa shopping at ScS. I bought this gorgeous and super comfortable sofa:

While the Sales Rep went to discuss my purchase with a colleague, I took off my shoes and tried out the rug. On his return, I said:

Let’s talk about the rug. – Me

After some negotiation, I bought the rug too. It is honestly the most comfortable thing I’ve ever had underneath my feet.

Whilst in recovery from Pneumonia, I’m slowly sorting, cleaning and revamping my life at home.

Now this gorgeous sofa came with a considerable price tag, so I’m not taking any chances with it. Especially when considering my cats. So I went to B&M and bought three throws (images of the patterns below) and two cushions to match:

I have to wait a few weeks for the sofa and rug to be delivered. But I’ve already chosen the perfect corner for the sofa to be placed in my living room.

The TownHouse

4 of Wands – Tarot Card

A small card arrived in my post box, advertising an exclusive development of 8 TownHouses close to where I currently live. The card boasted canalside living, a garden (something I miss living in an apartment), a roof terrace and even an allotment plot.

I decided it was worth checking out and so I arranged a viewing. On viewing one of the TownHouses I realised two things:
1. They were smaller than I expected.
And:
2. They were expensive.

Unsure what to do, I arranged another viewing. This time something was different. No the TownHouse wasn’t any bigger and the price hadn’t changed, but it felt more homely.

After discussing the TownHouse with family and friends; I decided to look into the affordability. Around this time also pulled the 4 of Wands tarot card from one of my decks. Guess what the 4 of wands is all about? You guested it, moving house. It seemed like a move was literally on the cards.

Despite starting to downsize and the sacrifices I was willing to make, it wasn’t mean’t to be.

My property was valued at less than I expected (and less than I had paid for it!) and it was ultimately unaffordable. I looked into all possible options and one of these options came with a difficult decision.

But despite the difficult decision – which is still a bit to raw to write about, I’m glad I looked into the possibility. At least I will never drive past the TownHouses (something I do regularly) with any regrets or wondering what if.

Blog soon,

Antony
